ATROPHY : Photographic Series of Preston

Based on the decayed and forgotten of the British city of Preston, the ATROPHY series explores the overlooked and disregarded areas within. Using nothing more than a Kodak disposable camera with about 27 shots, this series challenges the very idea of ‘retake and reshoot’, having to ‘make do’ with the outcome and work with it through post-processing.

The final stage of editing aimed to boost colours, yet antithetically, drain them to maintain the ‘vintage’ style of disposable photographs we all love.

Here is ATROPHY –
